John 7:37 On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! 38 Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’” 39 (When he said “living water,” he was speaking of the Spirit, who would be given to everyone believing in him. But the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet entered into his glory.)
When the Messiah raises His voice with information, we should listen. Here is what Jesus shouted. “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! 38 Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! Jesus is shouting these words to the crowd. That is the invitation of all invitations! The living water is the Spirit of God, and that Spirit had not yet been given because Jesus had not entered His glory. Everyone who believed in Him was able to receive this living water, and Jesus was offering it to everyone. EVERYONE!!
So, what do we do with this scripture? We realize that salvation is for everyone. No one is left out. I heard a preacher state one time that Jesus did not die for everyone, to which I thought he is lying. The scripture above states that whoever hears the words of life and, if given the option for living water, can drink, and that includes everyone. This message of life is accessible to all who will come to Jesus. Praise God.
If you have not accepted this living water, then now is the time because the river is waiting, and time is passing quickly. Do not wait!! I like to immerse myself in the water because I lived by a lake when I was a child. The living water of the Holy Spirit is available for each of us to immerse ourselves in and life change will happen. Today is the day of salvation, but you must believe and receive. Paul wrote these words to the church in Rome in Romans 10:13 For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Time to cross that river and the river (Spirit) will give you eternal life in heaven. Today is the day!!!

David Warren
